ALUSTEP® FN is a sandwich panel with honeycomb core in aramid paper and skins in fibreglass impregnated with phenolic resin. The sandwich panels made in this way are extremely light. Thanks to the low flammability of the phenolic resin, this type of panel has a certified version (upon request) which obtained IMO MED certification in the nautical sector and HL3 for R10 (Floors) and HL2 for R1, R2 (partitions and ceilings) in the railway sector.
